  The property suited our needs. Sid was very helpful and very nice. The TVs did were not in working; however, we did not need them at all to have a relaxing weekend. The hot tub had so much chlorine in it that was overwhelming, so we only used it once which was a disappointment. The cabin was very clean with a beautiful view. We were very happy with our relaxing weekend at this cabin.

  This place had great views from all windows including the hot tub. So close to downtown maggie Valley but yet so far from the noisy traffic. We couldn't have asked for a better cabin! We also saw tons of elk.

  We were very satisfied with the amenities of the cabin, the location, and the view! It was cozy after a day of hiking and the hot tub was a bonus!
  The outdoor furniture could use some love and maybe keep in mind when renting cabin in the fall to have leaves removed prior to arrival as we swept many leaves off the walkway and decks.

  Overall a nice place to stay, enjoyed the views and comfortable bed and couch. Could use some updating in decor, a bit too many chatchkes, felt like we were visiting Grandma's. Drive up and down a bit steep, but started getting used to the drive after a couple times up/down. We hiked GSMNP thru Bryson City, drove thru Cherokee, enjoyed Soco Falls, drove the Blue Ridge Mountain parkway to Cumberland Gap, hiked on the Appalacian Trail and also did drive up to Cataloochee Valley elk viewing and hiking. Shopped and ate in Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Bryson City, and Clyde. Overall a nice stay and would recommend. Walmart and Ingles for food shopping.

  This mountain cabin was perfect. We spent our 10 year anniversary here for the weekend and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Exactly what we needed! Very clean cabin, had everything we needed, the views were amazing! My wife was in awe the whole trip. Hot tub was great as well. Very close to restaurants and things to do! Highly recommend this cabin, we will be back again soon!

  It was a very nice place except for the deck and lower deck needs some new patio furniture and tables . Loved the hot tub but the deck was so dirty that it was not as pleasant as it could have been. What a beautiful view it has though, it definitely has potential to be a awesome deck with the views just needs some TLC. Over all the cabin inside very clean and had everything we needed 😊

  Cabin was very clean, had all the utensils and pots and pans we needed. A couple of minor problems, taken care of within a couple of hour. Hot Tub seemed new since our last visit 3 years ago. Only problem was the shower in the second bedroom needed a rubber mat in the shower, and a bath mat that would not stay in place

  We were at this property for one of the rainiest weeks I have everspent in north carolina. Thank god for this awsome cabin. This place made the whole trip awsome. The views were great and the hot tub was perfect to enjoy the cool mountain air. Our 3 year old and 4 month old doga had a great time playimg on the 3 level deck and the fire place made the rainy evenings comfortable and cozy. We plan on making this cabin a yearly destination for our vacation plans

  I highly recommend A Smokey View! It’s perfect for 4 people. The place was VERY clean. The hot tub was very clean and we enjoyed it very much! Something was wrong with the cable box the first day we were there but Sid came and took care of it right away and was so friendly and accommodating! The receptionist who always answered the phone when I called with questions before we got there was ALWAYS so nice and helpful:). The views are just like the photos maybe even better! The only thing I would recommend is a couple more baking pans, like a cookie sheet and cake pan. But other than that, I give Smokey View Cabin 5 stars!😄

  Beautiful location and home! Was very disappointed with the fact that there is no air conditioning and not very clean. Spiders and webs everywhere, animal hair everywhere, and the outside decks were covered with sticks (no effort was made to sweep them off before our arrival). Other than these few things it was a nice mostly relaxing stay.

  A very nice cabin with a spectacular view off the back porch. The cabin also had nice amenities that help made for a pleasant weekend. The leaves on the back porch were a major problem. I understand there will be leaves in a heavy wooded area like that but the back porch was covered in so many leaves that it appeared they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. It also made walking down the back steps dangerous as the leaves covered on the steps made the walk very slippery. I did slip at one point walking down but luckily it was near the bottom so I only fell a few steps. I only had minor bruises but I feel that could have been avoided if the back porch and steps were cleaned.
