  The house is a nice house, but the furniture--namely the sofas--look like they've been used for a long, long time (which can give the impression that they're dirty even if they're not). The beds were comfortable. Two of the bathrooms are carpeted--which always concerns me because of things that splash or drip around toilets simply absorb into the carpet. The upstairs rear porch has no lighting whatsoever--which makes it difficult to let a pet out at night to the side yard (which is illuminated). The downstairs TV only worked half the time (needs to be replaced), and the remotes to the TV/Cable downstairs had dead batteries and no replacements were in the house. There were no sheets for the two pull-out beds downstairs. If you're going to say the house sleeps X number of people, then you need to provide linens for all of the beds. And lastly, we only had toilet paper for two bathrooms. We literally had to unspool chunks of paper to put downstairs. I know this sounds very critical, but I'm being specific because I think all of these things can be addressed and take this rental from a 5 or 6 out of 10 to an 8 or 9.

  Close to town yet high enough to get that mountain getaway feel.

  Despite the name of "LOG" being misleading (as this is not a Log Cabin), our party of 4 plus one pooch were quite comfortable. It is located fairly high on the hillside and will accommodate three vehicles to be parked. The kitchen is well equipped although there is no dishwasher. The mattresses were most comfortable although the overall furnishings were cast offs, antiques and dated. Having three bathrooms was a plus; we were unable to use the fenced yard area due to the rain. A grill was provided for outdoor cooking.I recommend that you ask if the hand rails have been corrected (as I reported)for your safety. We never saw a human during this transaction, used a lock box for key exchanges - not my favorite way to represent a client.

  We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. We all loved the front porch with the rocking chairs and swing with a nice view, also the back porch. The furniture was comfortable but it was a bit worn and probably should be updated. The cabin is a nice size for a family, plenty of space to spread out. The driveway can be a bit challenging with Moore then one car. Over all we all enjoyed our visit very much.

  Cute cabin that fit our needs. The house had plenty of games, books, and movies which we appreciated as we've been to places that didn't provide any of that stuff. The cabin is in a neighborhood right in the center of town so quick access to anything so if you're looking for isolation or panoramic views this may not be the place for you but we enjoyed it. The kids and dog loved the yard area with the firepit and creek. Sure, some things could use a little updating (carpet in the bathroom was a little off putting) but we thought it was a nice place for our family and dog for our first trip to Maggie Valley.

  The location was great and the backyard was so pretty with all the trees and the fire pit. The uostairs sofa is very old and the veds are uncomfortable. The towels were like sandpaper and the sheets were yellow. There was an odor downstairs and the cabin needed to be dusted. There were only three hangers but the location was most desirable. 3⁄4

  The property is location on a hill in Maggie Valley, NC with good views from the porch. Maggie Valley is picturesque town and peaceful and not crowded like Gatlinburg. We chose this location as we wanted to see fall colors. Blue Ridge and various spots are nearby.
  
  It will be helpful to provide a response to google maps to update their maps as it made us to go in circles at late night when we arrived in the area. Though printed directions were provided in the packet which we did not look.
  Minor house keeping points- May be the leaves etc. is cleaned from the porch on the day of guest arrival. Bulb in the downstairs front porch need replacement. Adding a programmed timer based light switch will be helpful as it will feel welcoming rather than scary in pitch dark in the nights. Including cleaning supplies with the rental will be useful too.
  
  Provided amenities worked. Wifi worked fine to connect and do the meetings. Kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, etc. worked great.

  This was a lovely home with lots to do nestled into the mountains in a lovely town. Entering on the first floor though, we were met with a very musty smell. That happens in the woods, and there was a dehumidifier there, but it may need to be run more often or Febreezed. That was the only downside, and it was minor.

  Rental very easy to access but probably not in the winter. Unit is in quiet neighborhood with houses all around but very close to Maggie Valley. Very convenient, comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked.Refrigerator was kind of small but adequate for our needs. No mountain views. property description was accurate. We had no contact with property mgmt. Having 3 bathrooms was great. Living room was kind of small but large downstairs area made up for it.
