Valley Vista 105 Mtn Breeze Dr.(Hot Tub)

Valley Vista is a cozy, one-level, single-family home nestled high in the mountainside of Maggie Valley with a hot tub and mountain views. The living room features a soaring, vaulted ceiling, lots of natural light, wood-burning fireplace, and adjoining screened porch. Below, a larger covered deck holds a four-person hot tub, also with aforementioned mountain views. You’ll find it by taking the exterior steps on the right side of the home.

Inside, there’s a split bedroom floorplan with two bedrooms, each equipped with a desk and a smart TV, and two full bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a shower. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas with an island and all of the essentials you need to cook a meal. There’s also a stackable washer/dryer if you need to do laundry, and there’s a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room, if your crew needs an extra bed. Don’t miss the record player and well-stocked bookshelf!

Located in Maggie Valley, up a windy, steep road, there’s room for just two cars parked on the street, parallel to the house. Just down the hill, there’s an excellent brewery with outdoor
seating on scenic Jonathan’s Creek, and there’s also a super popular pancake house. Close to hiking, skiing, the cute downtown of Waynesville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee, and just 40 minutes from Asheville, Valley Vista is the perfect basecamp for your mountain getaway.

  We had the best time. Beautiful scenery. Cabin was perfect size, issues at cabin were handle right away. Only complaint it didn't look like it had be rented in awhile, a lot of cob webs, spider webs and dust on end tables etc.

  I have to start with taking the correct vehicle to get up the hill to the property, it is straight up with a couple of switchbacks. Perfect for our Anniversary. There was plenty of room for just the two of us. We loved being able to eat outside without bugs on the screened in porch. The hot tub was perfect and the views from each room were amazing. There are two bedrooms with large closets. Each bedroom has its own deck. Only the master bedroom has its own bathroom, the other one is off the kitchen right next to the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything you need to make your own meals. There are several places to eat out just down the hill just remember to check their hours and days they're closed. Don't forget that everyone else is in the area doing the same thing so the lines and waits can be lengthy. The only issue I had was regarding using the hot tub at night. I would have felt safer with a gate on the stairs on the hot tub level that lead to the yard.

  The view was absolutely beautiful! The house it's self needs to be cleaned better as there were dead bugs on the counter, the beds needed to be remade our first night as there were lumps in the mattress pad and sheets falling off, the washer and dryer need help as there is a note on washer saying if this happens do this and the dryer took a long time to dry, in the description says property has a grill which was nowhere to be found, towel rack was falling out of the wall, the A/C would go up to 80 some degrees if no movement pad the thermostat, the porch seating was really dirty but the hot tub was nice, the stove burners didn't all work and there were not decent cook wear or adequate kitchen supplies available. Also the road going to property is a challenge for even the experienced motorcycle driver, it's going up a step incline while there are curves, hills and sharp turns while in hills. So if your going by motorcycle you may want to consider a different location! They knew we were coming by motorcycle and didn't give us a warning.

  It was not worth the amount we paid for a week. We never spoke to anyone in person except for maintenence after we arrived for them to fix the hot tub.We didn't like the fact that you had to use exterior steps to get to hot tub...I missed that when we booked. The washer had issues, wasn't impressed with our stay.

  We had a great time staying in Maggie Valley. The location of Valley Vista is great and was close to snow tubing, skiing, hiking, and many other activities. There was a recent transition of ownership and as a result the property was not as clean as I would have hoped, but otherwise things were great.

  The view was great and we enjoyed eating meals on the porch. But when we checked out we gave the management company a list of 8+ things that needed to be addressed. The furniture was the MOST uncomfortable and worn out that I've run across. And the TV set is terrible. Unless the furniture is upgraded I wouldn't recommend this cabin.

  It was a relaxing stay with nice views. The views in the morning were nice and we even caught a rainbow on our second day! It was a comfortable stay for our group of five. The couch and chair in the living room need to be replaced because they are broken. We had the hot tub go out and called for maintenance and they had it fixed by that afternoon. The decks both upper and lower need some cleaning pretty bad and updating with paint and screens. The garage was dirty and needs to be cleaned as well. We found a lot of dust in the home so the cleaning is not really being done. I came in right behind the cleaning lady and did dusting and some additional cleaning so we felt more comfortable. For the rates I paid I dont think I should of done that. It should also be noted that there are no cleaning supplies, trash bags, dish soap provided so we had to go out and get these items. I ended up leaving them for the next guest. Overall a nice vacation but does need a few things addressed.

  The best thing about this cabin is the view. The view was the best I’ve seen since going to Maggie Valley. However, the cabin left us very disappointed. It was not clean, every dish we pulled out was either dirty or wet from where they’d been put away without drying. The pots & pans had food stuck on them & had to be scrubbed. The furniture was dingy & stained & broken down. The hot tub was nice but not convenient to use.
