  The house was nice but needed a deep clean. Cobwebs I. The corners and on the bed frame. Listing was a little Deceptive as it indicated, there was a washer and drier. There was not one at the house, but Somewhere else, the location was never disclosed to us. The sheets for the beds did not fit well. They're really should be a railing of some sort to the front Door.

  We were very pleased with our stay. The check in process was easy. The office was great to work with since we had a late arrival time. This was the perfect place to stay for our last minute ski trip. The Villa is very cozy and we loved the decor. It was perfect for our family of four. We would definitely stay again!

  This was our second stay at 105 Ivy Lane! We continue to enjoy the coziness of this cute cabin on the mountainside in Maggie Valley. It's convenient to most everything and easy to get in and out of the area. It's quiet and very comfortable. There were some glitches this time ~ the lights in the master bed & bath didn't work correctly and the icemaker was frozen (had been left on, froze, thawed, froze). The thermostat didn't work so the cabin smelled musty ~ we used our Febreze a lot!! We did report the problems and hope the management had someone repair the problems.

  The cabin was very clean but the smoky smell from fireplace was so overwhelming it burned your eyes and nose. We were gone from morning until night time so we managed but there needs to be something done with the odor

  The unit was very nice, well decorated and clean. We enjoyed our stay but there were a couple issues that needed to be addressed that hindered our stay. When we walked into the unit the first time it had a strong fireplace ash smell. When we had a fire in the fireplace the unit filled with a hazy smoke to the point it burned our eyes. We had to open the doors to help clear the air. I’m guessing the chimney needs to be cleaned out. The fireplace seemed to draw correctly but it diffidently created smoke to fill the cabin. When we got home our clothes had a strong odor of fireplace ash. We really liked the unit but the fireplace was a problem. We lost electricity for a short period and when it came back on the security system needed to be reset but there were no instructions on how to do this. That created a situation of the exterior lights flashing constantly and clicking sounds in every room coming from security switches in the unit. Instructions on how to reset it would be helpful. On a note scale of 1 to 5 we give this unit a 4.

  Cute little place. Great scenery. driveway is rough to get in and out of. A couple of the lights did not work and the closets were full of personal belongings. Great TV selection. All the movie channels were awesome. Nicely decorated. Patio furniture was not clean. One patio chair was missing a cover and the chair cushion was left inside. Store the cushions somewhere they can be protected from the elements so the patio furniture can be used. I wanted to sit outside and have morning coffee, but I wouldn’t sit on those cushions.

  Last minute of a Holiday weekend and we were fortunate to find this home. It is convenient to everything (although due to Covid many things were still temporarily closed) and the home was very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We truly felt as though we had walked into our own home. We did not need for anything and enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay here again. Must have breakfast at Pops!

  Our weekend at the Villa was pleasant and restful. The cabin is exactly as described and represented in the photos. The location is convenient to the main road but far enough away to be quiet and enjoyable. Everything is clean and up-to-date, appliances work well, beds are comfortable. Management responded quickly when there was a small problem! Would go back to this little spot of heaven!

  This is a lovely place and was good for me since it is one level and I can move around with my walker. was so happy that the mbr shower had sitting capacity. Does need a hand held shower, but I brought my own. The place has beautiful furnishings which are however quite massive in the major living area. My sisters moved the bar stools so that I would be able to have a clear path to the bath rooms. We were gone most of the time, but did enjoy our Scrabble evenings at the dining room table. The photo does not show that there is not a long drive way. As a previous guest recommended, back into the parking space. was never able to use the beautiful porch as everything was wet when we arrived and stayed that way, even though we attempted to dry them out. The place was spotless, but could have enjoyed a more generous supply of towels. We did purchase a bath mat set to avoid the slippery tile floors in the bathrooms. Would really recommend the judicious placement of DAMP RID in all of the closets and in the bathrooms. So humid, everything was damp all of the time.
