  We were in Waynesville during Thanksgiving week for a family reunion. This is a beautifully maintained home with lots of nice amenities, including a very private lower level with it's own wide screen TV. The view is glorious--an unobstructed view of the Smokies. We had one problem--and if you are traveling during the winter hours, this will be of interest to you. There are several steps leading up to the house. It is very dark in the evening. There is outside lighting. Unfortunately, the lighting did not work and the property manager did not respond to two requests to take care of this problem. We had flashlights, but I wouldn't want to stay here again in the winter unless the outside lights worked. (That is why there are not five stars across the board for everything about this home.) Otherwise I would return gladly.

  This is a beautifully renovated home. Easy vehicle access. Steep stairs to enter home so not good for someone who has trouble walking. Close to shopping and restaurants. Would stay there again.

  I loved this house. You got the experience of small mountain town with the benefit of a nice, clean, updated modern home. The location was perfect to the cute little downtown Waynesville but also to a Walmart on the other side if you need. The owners were quick to respond and getting there and inside was simple.

  What a lovely home in a perfect location!! We had a great stay and loved all of the little touches the owners have put in place to make the stay perfect. We would have liked a table lamp in the king bedroom and a regular coffeemaker, or the knowledge that there was only a Keurig before arriving. A coffee table in the downstairs den would be handy for snacks and games. The small leather sofa upstairs wasn't conducive to our whole family being able to watch the enormous TV but it wasn't a big deal. We loved the place and can't wait to come back again!
