Serenity Hill is close to the Cataloochee Ranch for Elk Viewing and also close enough to visit Harrah's Casino and the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Asheville and The Biltmore Estate, Historic downtown Waynesville, The Blue Ridge Parkway and Cataloochee Ski Area are also just a short drive.

  Always great. This was our third year there and we look forward to next year. The grill was in need of cleaning and the trash can outside had an odor left by the previous occupants but cleaned both and had a great time. We look forward to next year😎

  The beds are why we won’t be back. They are so uncomfortable and everyone who stayed with us said as much about their bed. The only one who was happy was my daughter, who stayed in the upstairs bedroom. Her bed is the only comfortable one in the house.

  Over the years, we've been to the Maggie Valley- Cataloochee area several times and like the National Park access from the quieter side.
  This is the first time we have not camped or stayed in a motel.
  We found this experience to be "as advertised" and enjoyed the quiet, the views and the home. Will return, God willing.

  The home is definitely nicer than the pics portray! My family loved staying here! It was clean, cozy, and we were treated to one of the most spectacular rural views around! My wife and I looked forward to enjoying the view with our coffee every morning and relaxing with our family with cocktails in the evening! We will definitely be back!
  The only damper with the whole experience here was my wife and I shredding our feet on exposed tacks where the carpet was supposed to be secured leading to the master bath.This was noted to management in our exit survey.

  The cabin is very nice and has a gorgeous view. My family really enjoyed staying and just relaxing in the cabin. There's plenty of space and the cabin was very clean. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and food places within a 10min drive. The Great Smokey Mountain State Park and Pigeon Forge are less than an hour away. We will definitely be returning soon, maybe in the winter to see some snow. I would highly recommend this location and Carolina Vacations.
